Protecting Yourself from Scammers Impersonating Discovery

Learn how to identify and avoid fraudulent messages from people claiming to represent Discovery.

Mobile phone displaying a suspicious message

Scammers may use familiar company names, copied logos, and convincing messages to gain your trust. Always check the sender's email address, phone number, and payment instructions before responding.

Discovery will communicate through its official channels and will not ask you to send fees to an employee's personal bank or e-wallet account. Do not share passwords, one-time PINs, or sensitive account information by message.

If you receive a suspicious request from someone claiming to represent Discovery, do not engage or transfer funds. Save the message and contact Discovery directly so the communication can be verified and reported.
