What is the Discovery Loan Advisor Program?
The Discovery Loan Advisor Program connects qualified Loan Advisors with small and medium enterprises seeking financing. Advisors help clients gather documentary requirements and keep them informed about their approved business loans.
What is the process for becoming a certified loan advisor?
Complete the application form below or visit our BGC office. Once we receive your details, our Sales Department will contact you by phone or text message to schedule a sales briefing.
How long does the sales briefing session last?
The sales briefing lasts approximately two to three hours. It covers documentary requirements, qualified companies, loan approval and renewal processes, and loan advisor commissions.
What are the costs of accreditation?
Loan advisor accreditation is completely free, including attendance at the sales briefing session.
Is my contract as a Loan Advisor with Discovery exclusive?
No. The contract with Discovery is not exclusive, so you may refer additional clients to other financing companies.
How long does the validity of my accreditation last?
Your accreditation is valid for up to one year. You may renew it after attending a refresher course to stay up to date on sales policies and practices.
Can my Discovery Loan Advisor accreditation be terminated?
Generally, no. However, accreditation may be promptly cancelled for breaches of law or fraudulent acts, including preparing or processing forged documents.
Can I refer a customer if I am not an accredited loan advisor?
No. To maintain the quality and consistency of account screening, every loan advisor must attend the sales briefing before soliciting new clients.
